Digital isolation

Dear Emily,

As you might have already noticed it is incredibly hard for me to reach you - the internet being all but useless after the earthquake. I really want to show you Beijing's most beatiful places and people, but for now you will have to imagine them. Although there are palm trees nor panda bears in the vicinity, you are completely free to add them to the scenes in your mind. As Beijing gets quite smelly now and then I advise you not to imagine odors with the pictures, though.
